Towards the City, Sassari

A demolition and reconstruction intervention that involves a radical change: a parallelepiped rests on a base that seems to arise directly from the ground. Large windows open towards the city and the panoramic landscape and reflect its beauty, giving the impression of two sheets of paper suspended in the air.

On the back, a row of vertical parallelepipeds mark the rhythm towards the entrance and are transformed into a real wall, corresponding to another small building, similar in shape to the main one. Between the two stands a small square protected by a wooden pergola, which offers an excellent area to have a meal with friends, sheltered from the sun in the hottest months.
